5 seconds to mars

It was a dark and dreary morning. The clouds refused to break. They held the town in a prison. The fingers of the doctor punched on his desk. He was reading an article “5 seconds to mars.” His eyes scanning the article as though his life was in the balance. He muttered under his breath, his body sweating bullets. He was smoke free 3 and a half days. His doctors garments stained a distinct yellow, though not his fingers. A mixture of frustration and anxiety.

The article the doctor was reading had an even greater effect than the lack of special air. Because. It was a tragedy and a great one at that. The doctor took of his glasses and sat for a bit in silence until there was a bang at his office door, which gave this smoke deprived doctor a unpleasant awakening. People had died, His people.

“open!” he yelled, his blood boiling. All his energy going into preventing taking his anger on the innocent. It was his assistant. “ahHh, sir, the heads are here, we need to listen to their report….” The doctor stood up, and went with her.

The generals were there not to give report but to demean. “so, you’re fired” one general laughed. “The biggest disappointment since 911” another chided. “You have hell to pay!” they all yelled. within 5 minutes he was out of his office and on the streets of booyork. In his boxers and lab coat and a box of papers and -luckily- his m2 MacBook air, and a footprint on his behind. “Welp” he said, “cant get worse than this.”

Rain

House defaulted

wife leaves

all money stolen

black cat walks in his path and says “losers gonna lose” snickering.

our doctor found a street corner out of the rain, stat down and fell into a very very deep sleep. zZZZZzzZZZZZzzzZZZzZZZZZZZzzzzZZZZZZz

*wait*

A voice woke him up. The doctor slowly raised his head and saw some kids sifting through his stuff. one saw him and did a “yelp”. the rest looked. They ran. The doctor ran after. They had his laptop. They all tripped. At the same time. The M2 MacBook air went backwards into the doctors hands -luckily-

The doctor sat down. As the kids continued running away. He turned on his M2 MacBook air. 47% batter. -luckily- something popped up on the screen. He closed it. He finished the article “5 seconds to mars”. rested with a *sigh* and scanned his environment. The sun was out out. The birds were singing and the atmosphere of Booyork had a rather sweet tint to it, the doctor thought.
